German - Estonian Summer School: Sustainable Agricultural and Food Business

Currently sustainability in agricultural land use, food production and consumer behavior are intensively and publicly discussed topics in most of the EU countries. Little insight exists about the complexity and challenges in agricultural and food value chains. Solutions on business level, corporate initiatives as well as future development scenarios on a wider scope depend on many factors: agricultural-structural conditions, political measures, social and cultural environment.

Nuertingen-Geislingen University and Estonian University of Live Sciences, Tartu are organizing a summer school program to get more insight into agriculture and food industry in both countries and into challenges and prerequisites towards sustainable development.
