Leading up to the conference, Jutta Schnell visited Stockton University, one of our highly esteemed US partners. Campus visits in Galloway and Atlantic City, New Jersey, provided valuable insights into Stockton University’s activities and offered an opportunity to discuss current issues relating to our student exchange and to enhance and
develop our collaboration.
In the exhibition hall, universities from Baden-Württemberg had again the great privilege to be able to use ‘The Länd’ booth, the official meeting space for universities from our federal state. Together with 18 other representatives, we could actively promote our university in an international context.
The days in Orlando consisted of a dense schedule of meetings,
appointments, and events. The personal exchange with representatives from over
30 partner universities worldwide was particularly enriching. These encounters
provided opportunities to deepen existing cooperations, initiate new projects,
and develop ideas for the future. We were also able to hold meetings with several promising new partner institutions and hope to welcome them into our partner network soon.
In addition, we took part in various networking formats that offered new impulses and insights into current developments and trends in the field of internationalization. Another highlight was the Baden-Württemberg Universities evening generously hosted by ‘Baden-Württemberg International’ where we could welcome our international partners and strengthen our ties in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
Our participation in NAFSA 2026 was a great success for our team – with
many new ideas, enhanced partnerships, new contacts, tangible outcomes, and a
strong sense of community at the ‘The Länd’ booth.
