The MBA International Management at HfWU is a 1.5-year, full-time, and practice-oriented program designed specifically for young professionals without a background in economics or business administration.
Our mission: To equip you with essential business and management skills to advance your career - whether in a leadership role or as a specialist with business expertise in a global context.

Tuition Fee:
For international students, the state of Baden-Württemberg has been charging fees of €1,500 per semester since the 2017/18 winter semester.
Students from the EU, the European Economic Area (EEA), Erasmus member countries and refugees are exempt. Foreign students with an initial qualification obtained in Germany also do not pay any fees.

In our small groups of 20 to 25 participants, you have the opportunity to actively exchange ideas with lecturers and fellow students and to work in a concentrated atmosphere.
Due to the high proportion of international students, you will benefit from a diverse, intercultural exchange - in the spirit of “Internationalization at Home”.
In addition to the regular curriculum, you can expect interesting guest lectures and contributions from external speakers, such as in the English-language series “Nürtingen Talks on International Management”.
In addition, regular excursions to companies and industry offer you the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience and make direct contact with the business world.

How do I apply?

4. Selection process
Applicants who meet the requirements will be invited to the selection process. This usually includes an interview. (For international applicants, online participation is possible.)
5. Admission
Successful candidates will receive their admission offer by email.
Applications Deadlines
The selection process for the summer semester takes place in December and for the winter semester in July. It consists of a selection interview (remote and online options for international applicants). Selected applicants will be invited to an interview in person.
Admission Criteria
1. Proof of degree:
Proof of a degree from a German institute of higher education or vocational college or a comparable degree from a foreign institute of higher education
2. Work experience:
Applicants are required to give proof of their work experience by submitting relevant documentation such as certificates of employment or letters of recommendation. Internships and apprenticeships are also acknowledged in addition to regular full-time occupations. Work experience should typically amount to 2 years, however candidates with less than 2 years of work experience may also apply.
3. Proficiency in English:
To be considered for admission you are required to have obtained a minimum of B2 level on the Common European Framework of Reference in English.
4. Proficiency in German:
To be considered for admission you are required to have obtained a minimum of A1 level on the Common European Framework of Reference in German.

First Semester
Welcome and Start of the Semester
At the beginning of each semester, a festive welcome event for all new students of the university takes place at the Nürtingen City Hall K3N.
Afterwards, there will be an introductory session specifically for the International Management program at Campus Innenstadt. You will receive an invitation for this via email in due time.

Lectures
On the start page of HfWU neo, our learning management system, you can view your lecture schedule via the “Course List” icon as soon as it is activated.
During the introduction week, you will receive the login details for your university account as well as an introductory training session.
