A new local Maker Community is being created in Nürtingen

A group of hobbyists, the "Makers," want to establish a new local Maker community in Nürtingen.
The initiative was founded as a result of the Corona pandemic - during the joint production of face masks using 3D printing. The goal of the Makers is now to create a participatory platform where ideas and experiences can be exchanged and various projects can be crafted in a relaxed atmosphere. When developing and sharing projects together, open source and non-profit are top priorities - work is done on a non-commercial basis and mainly on projects that have a positive impact on society. In the Maker Space, everyone is welcome to give free rein to their creativity. The open Maker Space meets every Monday at 6 p.m. in the Future.Box (Hechingerstraße 12, Nürtingen). The Future.Box is intended to offer not only the Makers, but also other co-working initiatives, founders, students and people interested in technology a space to exchange ideas, meet and be creative.
