Leading up to the conference, we visited our two Swedish partner universities
in Malmö and Karlskrona. These campus visits provided valuable insights into
the activities at the two universities and offered us the opportunity to
discuss current issues relating to our student exchange and to enhance and
develop our collaboration.
Together with a substantial number of universities from the southwest of
Germany, we were represented at “The Länd” booth, the official booth for the
federal state of Baden-Württemberg. Our team consisted of three International
Office staff who actively promoted our university in an international context.
The days in Gothenburg consisted of a dense schedule of meetings,
appointments, and events. The personal exchange with representatives from over
40 partner universities worldwide was particularly enriching. These encounters
provided opportunities to deepen existing cooperations, initiate new projects,
and develop ideas for the future.
In addition, we took part in various expert lectures, workshops, and
networking formats that offered exciting impulses and insights into current
developments and trends in the field of internationalization.
Our participation in the EAIE 2025 was a great success for our team – with
many new ideas, enhanced partnerships, new contacts, tangible outcomes, and a
strong sense of community at the "The Länd" booth.

Tandem Program: Language Learning and Intercultural Exchange!
A tandem is a great way to explore another language and culture while meeting new people. Two students with different native languages meet regularly and decide together how they want to learn. It’s not a language course, but a fun and personal way to practice speaking, share cultures, and build friendships. To find a tandem partner, join the Tandem Meet-Up Event. Through interactive activities, you’ll meet other students and find your perfect match. Afterwards, you’ll receive a meeting schedule with tips for your sessions and keep a logbook to track your experiences.
