We are thrilled to share our very first podcast episode as part of the KSK Visiting Professorship Program. In this pilot episode, we speak with Dr. Konrawan Rattanaburi from Walailak University in Thailand, one of Nürtingen-Geislingen University’s newer partner universities.
Dr. Rattanaburi shares insights about Thailand – including an impressive, song-like rendition of Bangkok’s full original name – and discusses social engagement, using SOS Children’s Villages as an example. Her perspective on Thailand’s donation culture was particularly inspiring.
As first-time podcasters, we learned a lot during the making of this episode and were reminded why we believe this format is worth pursuing: Our KSK Visiting Professors offer valuable insights into their home countries and academic work to a broader audience. We’re already looking forward to future episodes!
