Information on teaching at the HfWU from 25.10.2020

Published at

In a letter dated October 8, it was already announced that the training program will be continued in online formats until October 25, 2020. The reason for this was the exceeding of the 7-day incidence of 50 new infections in the district of Esslingen - as one of the first districts in Germany. This was also associated with restrictions on travel within Germany (ban on accommodation, quarantine obligation, etc.).

Although the restrictions, such as the ban on accommodation and the quarantine obligation for travel within Germany have been lifted, the number of infections has risen sharply everywhere, so that in the meantime over a third of the districts in Germany have a 7-day incidence of over 50. Therefore, teaching should be continued in the proven online formats. In the few cases where attendance teaching is absolutely necessary, it can now be approved by the dean of your faculty. You will be informed in time by the lecturers about courses that must be held in person. This will be limited to very few courses.

Please note that all participants (lecturers and students) have to wear a mouth-nose cover during the courses. This also applies to outdoor courses and examinations. This means in particular that a mouth-nose cover must be worn by all participants in the examinations and oral examinations. The minimum distance of 1.5m must still be observed. We ask for your understanding for this.
