The Rectorate’s Guidelines on the Use of Synchronous Communication Platforms (Microsoft Teams/365, alfaview and Zoom) at Nuertingen-Geislingen University with the request for attention.
This guideline summarizes the regulations already made for the use of the synchronous platforms, such as the deactivation of the possibility of audio and video recording of online courses, and supplements these with notes on data protection and archiving / backup. It serves to protect the personal rights of the users and to guarantee data protection when using these communication platforms. Please note that in this context chat histories in MS Teams are now also automatically deleted after 14 days.
