In order to maintain the supply of literature, the library has organized an emergency service. The lending periods that were due in January have been extended to 15.3.2021. Please note that this does not apply to interlibrary lendings and media whose lending periods have already expired before 16.12.2020.
The following applies:
To borrow media, you must order them via OPAC (library catalog: https://bsz.ibs-bw.de/aDISWeb/app?service=direct/0/Home/$DirectLink&sp=SOPAC05) to the libraries Campus Innenstadt (Information Center) or Geislingen. To do so, use the button "Bestellen/Vormerken" and log in with your library number as well as your date of birth as default password.
All orders will be pre-booked to your user account.
As soon as you receive a notification by mail that the books have been provided, please contact the library (Nürtingen: bibliothek-nuertingen@hfwu.de, Geislingen: bibliothek-geislingen@hfwu.de) to make an appointment for pick-up (appointments for pick-up and return: Mon-Thu: 10 am - 4 pm, Fri: 10 am - 1 pm).
If it is not possible for you to pick up media at the library, we can send you up to three books by mail in urgent, justified cases. Please contact the respective library directly. This offer only applies to titles that are not also licensed as e-books.
There are also two options for returning media:
- Return by mail at your own expense and risk (Nürtingen: Neckarsteige 6-10, 72622 Nürtingen or Geislingen: Bahnhofstraße 62 73312 Geislingen an der Steige).
- Return on site via the return machine or the return box. Please make an appointment in advance at the library (Nürtingen: bibliothek-nuertingen@hfwu.de, Geislingen: bibliothek-geislingen@hfwu.de).
