As of April 6, 2020, the libraries will expand their emergency supply of print literature as far as it is urgently required for the processing of seminar papers and final theses.
The return of print media is also possible again with restrictions.

  • Please send your order requests by e-mail to bibliothek-nuertingen@no spamhfwu.de or bibliothek-geislingen@no spamhfwu.de and provide at least the following information: Title, author, location and signature as well as desired pick-up location (Nürtingen CI7 or Geislingen Ba62). Please note that orders for books or journals that are alternatively available in electronic form cannot be accepted.
  • The media provided can be picked up Mon-Fri from 9-12 am in Nürtingen at the Campus Innenstadt (Informationszentrum, CI7) and in Geislingen (entrance area Ba62). Information on collection will follow on the order mail.
  • Holdings of the Braike Faculty Library can only be made available at one of these two locations.
  • Returns are possible Mon-Fri from 9-12 a.m. in Nürtingen at the Informationszentrum (CI7, return machine) or in Geislingen (Ba62).
  • The loan periods of borrowed media are adjusted automatically, reminders are not sent until further notice.
  • Interlibrary loan orders are not possible, nor are reservations and order requests via the OPAC.
  • At the moment, acquisition requests can only be made by e-mail directly to Mr. Rothfuß (Nürtingen) or Ms. Weinbörner (Geislingen).
  • The library reserves the right to decide whether a title is to be purchased electronically or in print.

This emergency supply is subject to reservation and will be adapted to further developments and capacities of the university library if necessary.

The extensive electronic offer of the university library is still available. Due to the current situation many providers offer improved conditions, so that university members can currently access almost all licensed media from outside the campus network.
