Nürtingen-Geislingen University offers its MBA International Management since 1999. Starting off as one of the first MBAs in Germany the initial bilingual post-graduate program will now be offered in English only. More than 700 students have graduated from the program and are working in all regions of the world, including destinations such as Colombia, Kenya, Madagascar, Vietnam, Myanmar, China, USA, Brazil and Indonesia.
The university located in the prosperous region around Stuttgart in Germany’s Southwest wants to address its program even more to students with an international background. In general, this program is open for applicants interested in management skills without prior business or economics education. To make this renowned program even more accessible also for candidates with backgrounds in engineering, IT or natural sciences, the mandatory language requirements are focused on English only starting fall semester 2018/19.

Nevertheless, German language skills are highly recommended and will be further developed over the course of the three semesters by offering continuous German language classes as part of the curriculum. Beyond the internationally oriented general management education, the MBA is known for its focus on sustainable development. Besides the cross-functional integration, this aspect also materializes with innovative electives such as “Social Entrepreneurship for Local Change”, “Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability” as well as “Managing the Innovation Process”.
Management skills in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams, professors and lecturers with professional expertise, visiting professors from all over the world as well as numerous internship opportunities in the leading European economic hub of the Stuttgart Metropolitan region are just a few more ingredients for a great opportunity for personal growth. For those who wish to do some of the studies abroad, there are various options to study some time at one of the many international partner universities, including the possibility to pursue a Dual Degree Option.
