HfWU's Master's programmes in economic and business studies are among the best in Germany among universities of applied sciences. This is a result of the current CHE university ranking. The CHE ranking, which is published in cooperation with the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT, is the most comprehensive university evaluation in the German-speaking world.
HfWU receives very good ratings for its Master's programmes in International Finance, Controlling, International Management and Organisational Design. Top grades are given here for the general study situation and the courses offered. In addition, the degree programmes score very well in the "category contact with professional practice" and "completion of studies in a reasonable time".
The International Finance and International Management Master's programmes also excel with the international orientation of their course content. In total, the ranking put more than one hundred universities to the test. The assessment is based on a survey conducted among students.
As part of a special evaluation, the Master's students were also asked about their assessment of how the university dealt with the Corona pandemic in general. The HfWU received a grade of 1.38. "A big compliment to the university and the lecturers. Most professors prepared very well and were able to start their lectures in online form before the official start of the semester," is one comment from the students surveyed on the Corona situation at the beginning of the summer semester.
