When to Arrive

All incoming students are strongly recommended to arrive no later than on Friday in the week before the orientation week - which is the week before lectures start. This will allow you to participate in the orientation days ( March 12th to 16th, 2012 for the summer semester).  Please keep in mind that you can't move into the dormitories on the weekend. 

Please inform the International Office* about your exact arrival date. We will inform the caretaker of the dormitories accordingly. 

If you arrive by plane you should fly into Stuttgart Airport (STR). The airport is 30 minutes from Nürtingen and 45 minutes from Geislingen.

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is about 2,5 hours from Nürtingen and 3 h from Geislingen. There is a good train connection to Stuttgart main station.

There is no pick-up service from the airport but once you arrive in Nürtingen or Geislingen, we will arrange pick-up service to your room. Please let us know when and where you arrive in Nürtingen or Geislingen*.
