Fees

Erasmus Students and Exchange Students

If you are an Erasmus student or an exchange student of one of our partner universities you do not have to pay tuition fees but you will be charged the following contributions each semester:

  • Students studying in Geislingen have to pay a contribution to the Studentenwerk (Student Services)  * 
  • Students studying in Nürtingen have to pay a contribution to the Studentenwerk and a fee for the VVS ticket what allows you to use buses and trains free of charge from Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. and at the weekends within the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart region * 

* The contributions are subject to minor changes every semester. Just to give you an idea: Students studying in Geislingen pay about 36 € and students studying in Nürtingen pay about 76 €. You will be informed about the exact amount during the welcome week. The amount is also due during the welcome week.

Study Abroad and Degree-seeking Students (Full-time Bachelor and Master)

If you register for a full-time bachelor or master degree programme you do not have to pay tuition fees but you will be charged the following contributions:

  • Students studying in Geislingen have to pay a registration fee and every semester a contribution to the Studentenwerk (Student Services) * 
  • Students studying in Nürtingen have to pay a registration fee and every semester a contribution to the Studentenwerk and the VVS ticket what allows you to use buses and trains free of charge from Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. and at the weekends within the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart region. *

* The contributions are subject to minor changes every semester. Just to give you an idea: Students studying in Geislingen pay about 76 € and students studying in Nürtingen pay about 116 €. 

The deadline to pay the fees is as follows:

  • Winter semester:
    Remittance between 15th and 31st of July
  • Summer semester
    Remittance between 1st and 15th of February

Part-time Master Degree Students

For participants of the part-time master degree programs "Finance and Management", "Business Process Management" and "Traffic-, Criminal- and Insurance Law" there are special regulations and payment conditions. Please contact the relevant school for details.
