Nürtingen-Geislingen University offers at its campus in Nürtingen the internationally recognised and renowned bachelor degree program Urban Planning. It leads to the degree Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng).

The program focuses on the specific challenges of urban development. The students acquire knowledge and skills that cover far more than only planning and architecture. The city planners from Nürtingen are trained to plan, design and manage complex and dynamic projects and processes.

Networked study projects in the profile of planning, urban planing and design are forming the central pillars of the didactic concept. The study projects are transdisciplinary and with courses from the fields

• law
• architecture and open space

The students will be prepared

• for tasks of urban planning to propose sustainble solutions
• to develop the profession of design concepts and implementation strategies
• to draw up development plans
• to develop innovative ideas for projects in public spaces

Qualified graduates can apply for one of our master degree programa Environmental Studies or International Master of  Landscape Architecture. The M.Eng. Landscape Architecture is taught in German and English and involves study at 2 higher education institutions.
