Rector's Office

Since September 1st, 2007, Prof. Dr. Werner Ziegler has been rector of Nürtingen-Geislingen University. Ziegler studied Economics in Würzburg and finished his dissertation at Hohenheim University, Stuttgart. Prof. Dr. Ziegler began teaching at Nürtingen-Geislingen University in 1990 as a professor for Corporate Management and Economics. He used to work in the banking and finance sector before.

Prof. Dr. Ziegler was significantly involved in the development of the University´s Geislingen campus. For a long time, Ziegler was the Dean at the Geislingen campus. Furthermore, as an expert in marketing, he headed the University´s Steinbeis Centre for Marketing and Corporate Management.

Prof. Dr. Ziegler proceeded the work of his predecessor developing Nürtingen-Geislingen University into an internationally and nationally renowned academic institution with partner universities in all continents.

Today, Nürtingen-Geislingen University is an international campus popular among national and international students.
