Fees
Erasmus Students
If you are an Erasmus student you are not required to pay any tuition fee.
However, if you study in Geislingen you have to pay a fee of € 35,70* and if you study in Nürtingen you have to pay a fee of € 73,55* per semester. This amount has to be transferred after opening of your bank account during the welcome week.
Exchange Students
If you are an exchange student of one of our partner universities your tuition fee is waived.
However, if you study in Geislingen you have to pay a fee of € 35,70* and if you study in Nürtingen you have to pay a fee of € 73,55* per semester. This amount has to be transferred after opening of your bank account during the welcome week.
* The fees are as per winter semester 2010/2011 and are subject to minor changes. They comprise:
- for students studying in Geislingen: a contribution of € 35,70 to the Studentenwerk (Student Services)
- for students studying in Nürtingen: a contribution of € 35,70 to the Studentenwerk plus € 37,85 for the VVS ticket what allows you to use buses and trains free of charge on Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. and at the weekends within the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart region.
Study Abroad and Degree-seeking Students (Full-time Bachelor and Master)
Like all other state universities in Baden-Württemberg, Nürtingen-Geislingen University charges tuition fees. The money raised from tuition fees is used to provide improvements for students and staff. All students enroled in a full-time bachelor or master degree program have to pay 500 € tution fees.
In addition,
- students studying in Geislingen have to pay fees totalling € 75,70* (registration fee of € 40 plus a contribution to the Studentenwerk of € 35,70) per semester and
- students studying in Nürtingen have to pay fees totalling € 113,55* (registration fee of € 40 plus a contribution to the Studentenwerk of € 35,70 plus € 37,85 for the VVS ticket what allows you to use buses and trains free of charge on Monday - Friday from 6 p.m. and at the weekends within the Verkehrsverbund Stuttgart region.

The deadline to pay the fees is as follows:
- Winter semester:
Remittance between 15th and 31st of July - Summer semester
Remittance between 1st and 15th of February

Part-time Master Degree Students
For participants of the part-time master degree programs "Finance and Management" and "Business Process Management" there are special regulations and payment conditions. Please contact the relevant school for details.
