Mission

The bilingual part-time MBA degree programs "Management and Finance" and "Management and Real Estate" are designed for professionals and strengthen the management skills of motivated and ambitious graduates of all academic disciplines. The candidates usually pursue executive positions in companies and organisations that are linked to the finance sector. The students are encouraged to reflect on social and ethical behaviour and concerns. They learn how to recognize the complex structures of institutions. Students learn to analyse these structures and to derivate strategic managerial goals, skills and decisions.

The part-time MBA program "Management and Finance" is offered by Nürtingen-Geislingen University in co-operation with the Campus of Finance and the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart.
The part-time MBA degree program "Management and Real Estate" is offered by Nürtingen-Geislingen University in co-operation with the Campus of Finance.

Duration of study

The part-time study programs last 2 years. Lectures take place on Fridays from 4 - 9 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am - 5 pm and during certain week during the year. The students decide at the beginning of their study if they spezialise in "Management and Finance" or "Management and Real Estate". All students spend the first 2 semesters together and spezialise in semester 3 and 4.

Prospects

This degree entitles its holder to exercise professional work in leading positions in the field of Management, Finance and Real Estate and provides excellent career advancements.
It qualifies its holder to work in the senior grade of the German civil service „höherer Dienst“ and to apply for admission for doctoral work (thesis research).

Entry Requirements

• Proof of a degree from a German institute of higher education or vocational college or a comparable degree from a foreign institute of higher education
• Relevant professional experience of at least 2 years in an appropriate field
• Proof of employment in an appropriate field and a letter of authorization from the employer
• All foreign degrees must be acknowledged by the Ausländerstudienkolleg in Konstanz (www.ask.fh-konstanz.de). The ASK process normally takes approx. 4 weeks. Please send the ASK certificate with your application form to the Admission Office
• Good knowledge of German and English
