International Management
International Management at Nürtingen-Geislingen University is an international and practice-oriented full-time study program for non-business graduates leading to the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The degree program International Management (MBA) enhances interpersonal and leadership skills as well as independent thinking with an international focus. The program is taught in English and German and it prepares non-business academics for management positions that require both international and business skills. The objective of this program is to train students for these endeavors by linking the students´first degree studies with business issues. Special attention is given to the following subjects:
- business administration
- special business administration
- law
- economics
- international leadership
- languages
The program allows the student to develop the capability to work in a global business environment by integrating international issues in all subjects. Furthermore, the cultural diversity of the group provides such an important lens for anyone who strives to become a business leader responsible for conducting business in an international context.
The program is partly funded by the German Academic Exchange Service DAAD (7 scholarships per year) which makes the program expecially attractive to students from Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Application DAAD-Scholars
For applicants from developing or threshold countries participating in the DAAD-programme the application deadline is October 15th for admission to the following winter semester. Please hand in your application at NGU, degree progam International Management (address in box on right hand side).
You can also hand in your scholarship application at the German embassy or through the DAAD. In this case you have to adhere to their application deadlines.

Language
Lectures are taught in German and English. A list of the modules and the language of instruction is given on German site of the degree program.
Please notice that applicants without any German knowledge can not be shortlisted.
Costs
Full-time degree-seeking master degree students do not have to pay tuition fees but will be charged an administration fee.
The same applies to exchange students.

Admission to the summer semester requires a test (logic test and interview) that takes place from February 6th - 8th, 2013. Applicants that fulfill the formal criteria will get an invitation by mail.
A GMAT is not necessary but can be handed in instead of taking the test.
Attention DAAD Scholars:
For applicants from developing or threshold countries with a DAAD scholarship there are different application deadlines. Application is only possible once a year by October 15th for admission to the winter semester of the following year.

1. For your application you first have to complete (online) the official admission form of Nuertingen-Geislingen University.
2. In addition you have to send the following documents by mail to uni-assist e.V. Please adhere to the deadlines!
- Print the online admission form with date and signature
- Certified copy of A-level certificate, transcript of records and/or diploma of bachelor degree
- Proof of work experience
- CV
- Evidence of proficiency in German (Test DaF - Test in German as a foreign language) and English (IELTS/Toefl for foreign applicants).

Without sending the online application form and the documents, the online application is unvalid.
Attention DAAD Scholars:
For an applications for a DAAD scholarship, further documents are required. The documents can only be handed in mail to the DAAD or the German Embassy in your home country or directly to Nuertingen-Geislingen University, degree program International Management.
An online application via uni-assist is not possible.
