Nürtingen-Geislingen University offers the practice-driven and cross-subject-oriented four-semester postgraduate study programme "Environmental Protection" leading to the degree of Master of Engineering (M. Eng.) in Environmental Protection.
Under the administration of Nürtingen-GeislingenUniversity, the Universities of Applied Sciences in Esslingen and Reutlingen and the Stuttgart Technology University for Applied Sciences mutually offer this master course as a joint-degree program. Course units take place on a daily rotating basis on campus of the four participating universities. The program Environmental Studies is an outstanding example for university cooperation in the region.
The master's programme enables successful and future-oriented employment in the public sector (e.g. municipal corporations, county administrations), in utilities and industry (e.g. undertakings and associations in the fields of power supply, water catchment), in the private sector (e.g. planning offices, consulting engineer firms) or as free-lancer (e.g. environmental consultant, independent expert or provider of environmental protection services).
Lectures are instructed in German. International students need to provide proof of sufficient knowledge in German according to our language prerequisites.

Full-time degree-seeking master degree students do not have to pay tuition fees but will be charged an administration fee.

Full-time degree-seeking master students apply to Nuertingen-Geislingen University till February 15th for admission to the summer semester and August 15th for admission to the winter semester.
